As an Animal Welfare volunteer, you’ll be placed with a local veterinarian, treating animals such as donkeys, dogs, cats, chickens, cows and more. Volunteers work at a small clinic, a shelter, and travel with the vet to farms and villages, gaining exposure to animal diseases and treatments. You may help with vaccinations, neutering, treatments, and small surgeries. Volunteers also support feeding, dog walking, washing, and adoption preparation at the shelter.
